Shooting Disciplines
Much of what members of the club do is come together to compete. What follows are general examples of the various kinds of events that have been hosted in the past by club members acting as Range Masters.
Year Round:
- 15 Egg Open Sunday Shoot
- 5 eggs on paper for score following membership meeting
- 2-Gun Action Multiple gun Action Shoot -- pistol & rifle
Summer Only:
- NBRSA -- Centerfire 100yd and 200yd
- Inter-Club -- Six 15 Egg Rimfire Shoots for Club Trophy
- Holton Unlimited -- Rimfire and Centerfire -- Various yardage
- FREE Fun -- Rimfire 200 and 150yd
- PRS Rimfire Precision Rifle Series
Winter Only:
- 5 eggs on paper for score - 3-ROUNDS
- ARA Bench Rest -- Rimfire 50yd
NEW in 2024:
Events not previously seen at Holton Gun and Bow Club will be published on this page. Range Masters have opportunity to answer all those questions prior to the event itself.
Shooting Event Posters
A form of announcing upcoming Events used by the club is a poster. The event detail is displayed to shooters by poster created and hung in the clubhouse and other locations chosen by Range Masters.
